We popped in here during the rain and started browsing the vast selection of liquor and some gift items. The lady was very friendly and left us alone, never pressured us to buy. We left with some souvenirs and came back again to purchase some small locally brewed liquor.

We only pooped in for a look before dinner and Cesar immediately came over, introduced himself and offered to tell us about the shop and the tequila and mezcal he sells. He then even gave us an explanation of how the different types of tequila are made and what the difference between the organic 100% agave tequilas and the mass... More

We stopped here during our visit to Valladlid and really enjoyed it. They gave us a tour and explained about the distillation and aging process and also explained what the difference is between tequila and mezcal. We were also given samples of 3 tequilas and 3 mezcals. As others have stated they were not pushy in trying to get you... More

We stayed one night in Vallodalid to break up the Tulum to Chichen Itza bus ride. We walked by here twice, and both times were given a friendly invitation to come tour, so acquiesced the second time. We were pleasantly surprised by a beautifully renovated building (Mission era, used to be a hospital and school and many other iterations) with... More

The Lady how worked there only can speak very poor english so her explanations were hard to understand because i cant speak or understand spanish...she told me the expensive mezcal "tipitoche" for 735 pesos (which is like 50 Euro) is... What a fabulous shop this is. An amazing selection of tequila and mezcal at all vintages, qualities, and price points. It would all be overwhelming if it wasn't for the help of the lady behind the counter (the owner perhaps?). She took her time explaining the similarities and differences between tequila and mezcal and then invited us for a tasting.... More

There is impressive variety of tequilas in the store and lots of souvenirs to choose from. Friendly staff. We however did not buy any of tequilas although I have to say - I regret.

To begin with, the selection in this little shop is staggering. Tons of tequilas, mezcals, and xtabentun to choose from, and it's rightfully overwhelming to the uninitiated. That's where the incredibly helfpul staff comes in, who can tell you all about the tequila distilling and aging processes, and how the tequila develops into the flavor you end up tasting. In...
