We have read the story of this business and planned a trip to Valladolid specifically to visit this store. Found a clutch bag with exact color trim but my wife really wanted a bag with a strap. No problem they added a strap and monograms while we waited. The young lady measured her to determine exactly how long she would... More

I was looking to buy a Dutzi bag at one of the retailers in a popular tourist area, I had an unfortunate experience and left without a purchase. I reached out to Ariane to let her know what happened and she personally took care of my order! She allowed me to customize my entire order and shipped out my bag... More

We visited Dutzi after reading reviews. It was easy to find and in a lovely street. To be honest, I thought it was way over priced. The products are of a good quality and I'm happy to pay to assist any community project, however I felt the prices were expensive.

While strolling down the loveliest street the beautiful town of Valladolid, Calzada de los Frailles, after visiting the former Convent de San Bernadino de Siena (also a must-see!) my friend and I stumbled upon Dutzi Design's store and workshop. We felt immediately compelled to enter. It is there that we met Ariane Dutzi, founder and designer of Dutzi Design. We... More

I first heard about the Dutzi story while vacationing in Tulum. Valladolid, where the store is located, is just a short 1hr drive from the beach and the beautiful colonial town is well worth a day trip if you're staying the Rivera Maya. We decided to plan a whole trip around a weeks stay in the colorful city of Valladolid... More

Just last Wednesday, February 12, 2014 I stopped by Dutzi Design. It's now located on Calzada de los Frailes (Street 41-A) near the Coqui Coqui Perfumeria. The boutique has a a large selection of new products but they do not accept credit cards so go armed with pesos.

First of all, Valladolid is a nice city to visit. There are a lot of restaurants with very good food, the zocalo at the center of the city is a good place to hear the birds and to see the vida yucateca going around. It is a typical city of Yucatan. Walking two blocks away from the Cathedral, you will... More

I fell in love with the Yucatan after spending two months in Mexico last summer. From Playa del Carmen I took the ADO bus to Valladolid which I can't recommend enough! Clean, air conditioned with movies, it only costs $30RT, 2.5 hours each way. Valladolid is charming colonial town great to spend either an afternoon or few days. Stroll around... More

When you stumble upon the brightly colored colonial shop (a few blocks from the zocalo) - you get the sense that you have stepped back in time with the building´s architecture, colors, antique framed sacro-art and furniture... but there is also an effortless blend of modern qualities to the space which makes it more eclectic and fun! Then, there are... More
