Not much decorations for the tourists but everything was made with great intentions. We felt very comfortable when we walked through it.

A light and airy room filled with murals depicting Mexican/Mayan history. Downstairs there is the tourist office which seems to be open all day and evening - with maps and information. Good place to start off.

This municipal office right on the main square is a great place to start your explorations of Valladolid. On the main floor is a tourist office with English speaking staff who will give you a map of the city and any directions you may need....More

Friendly place to see how the government works and the display of murals showing historical information. The 4 murals are quite lovely with both Spanish and English translations.

It expanded my horizons on Mexican culture and history. Rooms clean and airy. Very easy to take in... It would be good to allow 60-90 minutes.

This is an excellent free attraction right off the main square. Go upstairs and read the description of the murals to get a great summary of local Mayan and Mexican history.
