We've been to the Big Island a handful of times but this was the first time to Ride the Rim. It was an adventurous ride on the side-by-side and we seemed to hit every puddle along the way! The guides were all very helpful with the helmets and a short instruction. I'm glad we decided against the ATV just because... More

The Ride-the-Rim tour was a great getaway from the more heavily trafficked tourist areas. You can pilot your own ATV or opt to be a passenger on a larger ATV. You'll be given safety gear and training before being turned loose. The ride is not too difficult for the average adult as long as you pay attention, but challenging enough... More

The tour is very scenic and you learn a lot about Hawaiian culture and history from your guides. The ATV's and side-by-sides are a blast to ride through the scenic mountain trails.

Pat and Omar are fantastic tour guides! They both are very fun and knowledgeable. I am normally not a history fan but I thoroughly enjoyed learning about their heritage and the history of this amazing island. My husband and I had a great time. It was a great ride with gorgeous scenery. The 3 stops were breathtaking! The snacks and... More

My wife and I did this tour a few days ago. It was a fun trip. They guides were great and the scenic views were nothing short of spectacular. It is truly one of the best ways to see the valley and get a great history lesson with locals as your guides. When you see the valley you understand what... More

This is absolutely the best way to see the Valley of the Kings! Three special stops reveal sacred areas of Waipio including a phenomenal views of Hiilawe Falls. If you aren't awestruck by the natural beauty- then the ride on the ATV is a rush. You are allowed a dip in the pool of a waterfall but the water is... More

What a great adventure! My husband and I were excited to be able to participate in this experience. We were familiar with Waipio Valley, having had the opportunity to observe its beauty from the scenic outlook in the past. Being able to explore the surrounding lands and learn more of its history and significance, was truly magical. The team of... More

As kama'aina we recognize that it's the guides that really make or break the tour experience. Bad weather didn't ruin our experience! This tour is based on recreation and education, and the guides were the best at both! Made sure we had fun and shared great stories the whole way. They were all local Hawaiians. Would highly recommend this company... More
