Bekonscot Model Village and Railway is the world’s oldest original model village. Set in Beaconsfield, just outside of London we are a popular day attraction for people of all ages.It was opened in 1929 and it’s a great place to bring the family and stomp around like giants! There are six model towns, a huge Gauge 1 model garden railway, ride-on railway, remote-controlled boats, castles, lakes and industries in 1.5 acres of award-winning gardens. It's a great family day out, and it's your chance to be a giant in a miniature land of adventure, hidden away in a 1930s timewarp. It’s a big day out full of really nice small things and we'd love to see you soon!

I just love this place! It's so beautifully done, and the attention to detail is spectacular! Some of the little shops have names of local stores, and others have little throw backs to famous names or funny titles etc. There are boating lakes with moving...More

Great to see a good old classic model village. Good food & drinks options, really well kept, rather a lot of children, but guess that is to be expected! Well worth a visit if you're nearby

Whether girls or boys, both loved the models, buildings and of course the trains. Much time was also spent on the play area and though we bought ice creams we also took a picnic which we could sit and eat and watch the children play....More

What a great place. So much to see with reference to real life places. The trains and announcements are great - whizzing around all over the place. There is also a mini ride on train to take you from the entrance to the village. Definitely...More

We had a really nice time at this famous model village. Our two grandchildren were fascinated by the buildings, the small people and the details in each display. They also enjoyed playing in the adventure playground and the ride on the train. We enjoyed looking...More

Been twice over the years and always enjoyable. Can be busy so pick your time. Only gave it four stars as a bit pricey. We were three adults and it was £10 each.

Very interesting model village which has entertained my children and now grandchildren over many years. The well designed layout of the attraction shows a wide range of activities in model life ,all connected by a variety of model trains. Coal mining vies with fireman putting...More

Thank you for your enquiry. The paths are relatively narrow but it is suitable for pushchairs and prams provided they are not too wide.

Hello. I am not sure. I saw kids and babies here together with the grownups. Hope it helped.
