Really enjoyable wine tasting and tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable about both Chilford Hall, its character and it's quirks and also about the wine making process and how it's produced at Chilford. The wine tasting experience was really informative and fun and some really nice wines to, following by a nice lunch. All of our group thoroughly enjoyed it.... More

I bought a wine tasting tour here with lunch from buyagift for my husband & we went together in July. It wasn't very expensive so I didn't expect much but it was a really great day out. We started off with a cup of tea in the sunshine sitting in the very pretty garden. Then we toured the vineyard and... More

A very interesting view of British wine making. Went there as a complete surprise for a birthday treat. We were welcome with a glass of bubbly and a tasting of a new salted caramel e tour was short but extremely interesting. We then went back to the restaurant or some tasting, 5 in total. I regretted that they only had... More

arrived at the reception however were no offered tea or coffee (a bad start!), the bistro was very (or even very-very) cold. The introductory talk, wine making tour and wine tasting met requirements, although there was no red wine available to taste - not good for a red wine drinker! Lunch consisted of a ladle of beef stew and a... More

My husband and I had a most enjoyable morning. I bought the wine tour for a birthday present and we both had a great time. David, our tour guide, was very informative and knowledgeable and gave us a good insight into the wine business, from the grape growing to the actual finished product. I would say that the walk to... A very informative and enjoyable morning. The tour of the vineyard, David gave us a good understanding of what happens throughout the year of the vines. The wine tasting was a joy, the lunch was just what was needed after the tour. Very enjoyable time thankfully the weather was with us, I would think that it would be uncomfortable if... More

I bought a Vineyard tour, wine tasting & lunch for my boyfriend's birthday. We chose Chillford Hall due to its super ratings on here & we were not disappointed! When we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly welcome & tea and coffee. We then had a tour of the Vineyard & Winery which took around 2 hours. Our guide... More

We were given the tour as a present so weren't sure what to expect but we had a really good time. Graham was a fountain of knowledge and explained how the vineyard originated. After being served coffee, we walked for half a mile to the vineyard- mercifully the rain held off - and although we didn't see grapes as the... More

We had a great time last Saturday with Graham at Chilford hall, there were 20 of us on a hen weekend and we had a great time. The tour was really informative and the wine tasting was great and the wines delicious. We had a wine related quiz and a competition which was good fun. Thanks Graham for making it... More

Got a really good deal through Living Social so myself plus three friends went along. Vineyard tour was good, our guide Richard was knowledgable about the history of the place as well as knowing all about the grape varieties. Wine tasting followed which was great fun! Again Richard was able to describe flavours and smells of each grape variety and... More
