Well done Crewe!

I've known Crewe park for sixty years, and was appalled by the municipal vandalism inflicted on it in recent years, (did anyone go to prison for that?). For some time it looked... read more

This park has been completely renovated according to the internet. It is a lovely park for a walk. There are some fabulous trees and a central lake. The car parking is good and directly across from one of the park gates. The park is open until 8.30pm in the spring/summer (not sure of the opening hours in the darker months).... More

I've known Crewe park for sixty years, and was appalled by the municipal vandalism inflicted on it in recent years, (did anyone go to prison for that?). For some time it looked like a ww1 battlefield, so yesterday, with some time to kill in Crewe, I took a stroll down memory lane without much optimism, and was amazed at the... More

Such a pretty park. I'm new to the area but love bringing my friends and family here when they visit. Very well presented and looked after!

Today Saturday 8th April is a beautiful sunny spring day and at 1200 noon we decided to walk around the park, 6 miles from our home. I was not prepared for the total transformation which has occurred in this park! We have been many times since around 2006 when I wrote to the parks department telling them what a disgrace... More

A jewel of a park. in the past it was a tired looking park but it received 50 million in grants (I think)and the place is now great once again. Its so important that parks like this survive and thrive in the 21st centaury. There is a boating lake open in the spring/summer and café on site open at key... More

Lovely park with with facilities available for a coffee and a snack.Nice play area for children to enjoy.Only criticism is people letting thier dogs of thier leads, it is against the park rules but it is not policed.Peoples dogs may be ok with people but it shoud never be assumed those people are ok with dogs around them.

Great to take the kids for a run around during summer. Play area with all the usual swings, riockers, see-saw etc. Ducks to feed & a cafe for an icde cream treat to bribe the kids to behave for.

Stopped by for a cup of tea. Nice and clean but I can't have dairy and was no alternative. But everyone else was fine. Enjoyed nevertheless.

On a beautiful sunny day (I know, they can be rare) I decided to visit a local attraction, Queens Park. It has been some years since I last visited, so I was interested to see if the local council had made any improvements? According to the notice board just inside the main entrance there seemed to be many activities for... More

My wife , myself and our family from Crewe often frequent this park , the grand-daughters enjoy riding their bikes or scooters around here . They also like to use the apparatus and when we can either a picnic or snacking in the cafe. I like ambling around the pathways .
