Traditional Family run Gardens, Tea Room & Large Plant Nursery. This is...

Traditional Family run Gardens, Tea Room & Large Plant Nursery. This is a must for the keen gardener and wildlife lover. The Gardens are set beyond the Nursery and once walking through the walled archway the magic begins. The gardens are set around a tranquil pool with island pathways and wooden bridges leading to various features. This Monet-style landscape has a wealth of moisture-loving plants, including iris and primulas. Drier areas feature unusual perennials and rarer trees and shrubs. Woodland paths meander through shade and bog plantings with views across the pool to the cottage gardens. Outdoor Theatres and Weddings are also held here throughout the season. Also ideal for Cyclists and dog walkers as very close to the Delamere Loop and Sandstone Trail. Ladies Afternoon Teas, Group Tours and Workshops are also held throughout the season. Open March to October. Out of Season bookings taken for special events and groups. See our Website for more details on upcoming events.

Lovely gardens and nice tearoom

Dropped on this place randomly. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon walking round the gardens. Lots of wildlife/ birds and hidden fairy/ goblin statues.

The garden here is very pretty and well worth a visit. The tearoom is one of the best I've been to as the food is great and the staff couldn't be friendlier. Really great service and the breakfasts as well as the cakes are delicious! Can't wait for the tearoom to reopen.

Always a really pleasant place to have a snack or afternoon tea or lunch. It is run by someone who knows about plants and trees and also has interesting evenys on throughout the year.

Although I live nearby I had not visited this lovely garden and nursery hidden away in a lovely natural setting just off the A556. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the tea and cakes just wonderful. I also wandered into the nursery and came away with some lovely plants for my garden. I shall be back!

Both my wife and I were returning from a night away in Buxton to our home in North Wales. As it was just past lunch time we were looking for somewhere we could stop for a drink and a light lunch. We happened to be travelling along the A556 when we saw the sign saying Stoneyford Gardens and tea room.... More

We called here on the off chance more to look in the nursery rather than the tearoom. We were amazed at the wide range of cottage garden plants & how reasonably priced they were. The tearoom was a delight! So much so that we've been back 3 times in just over a month. Have tried the breakfast and cakes now... More

I regularly visit this nursery, whether for the tea room, the garden centre or the gardens themselves. Last night I even enjoyed some open air theatre in the gardens which was quite magical. This place really is a little gem and definitely worth a visit.

Visited whilst on holiday in the area - had a delicious light lunch before going through to the gardens which, seemed rather too casual with very few markers indicating the flower or bush variety. With no concessions available we felt that £4 a person was a bit pricey

Spent a very relaxing afternoon here. The gardens are lovely and peaceful. The people are friendly and approachable. And we enjoyed some good food in the tea room.

We can recommend a vist. Tranquil tea garden, wonderful garden to visit with the river running through. It so peaceful and run by a very lovely family. The tea room is not to be missed, a good choice of hot foods, sanwiches and home baked cakes. We will be visiting again soon. Chrissie & Anthony
