Really is worth a walk around this old Market Square. Still with the old cobbled areas and a fine selection of shops and bars.

A quaint market square which has not been spoilt by local development. Still used for markets today. A number of listed buildings around the square, including the Saxon crosses.

Happy with cold items on sale from a decorative stock trailer in the square. About 100 metres up the street is a large DIY, garden and cook shop well worth a visit.

Home to some historic (but not significant) buildings, the Saxon crosses and the War memorial the Market Square is worth a look if you are in Sandbach town centre but is not worth going out of your way for at all.

Thanks to the council's efforts to maintain an historic site, the square perfectly blends modern shopping with the need to remind people of their heritage.

A truly ornate cobbled market square, complete with thatched public house, a real credit to the town. It must have been superb when the town markets were held here.
