This is a wonderful place to visit if you’re in or around Cartmel. The priory is in excellent condition. We were given a guide book on entry, and made our way round using it.

A stunning place. We were lucky enough to sit in the choir for a wonderful wedding. We went back the next day - a wonderful visit. The volunteer in the shop was informative and very pleasant.

We pop in here every time we stay in Cartmel as it’s such a warm and inviting place where we are welcomed in by the locals every time. If you are in the area pop in and enjoy!

Amazing priory - huge! And we fell across the festival of angels where locals decorate an angel as a fund raiser for the church - all a bit creepy but amazing all at the same time - so glad we got to see that
