Narrow streets, several pubs, lots of cute and specialist shops, gentrified by Simon Rogan. The Arch of the old Priory stands in the centre of the village, a gate to one of the streets off the square.

What a lovely place to visit. The priory was amazing and I am so glad we came here. Such an unusual building, it was stunning. Haven't seen anything like it before. A quick stop over but somewhere I would like to see again.

a wonderful place to stroll around, with a stream running through the village centre and fascinating old properties all around. Lots of hotels and cafes.

Stayed for 2 nights at The Cavendish Arms. Lovely friendly staff, and good food. The Breakfasts were lovely although the buffet arrangement could be a lot better. The village itself is very pretty with the historic priory and old inns in the village square. Not...More
