Stayed at Holly Cottage which is attached and owned by The Pig and Whistle Pub/Restaurant. Fantastic stay, brilliant hosts, brilliant food in pub and absolutely beautiful, beamed cottage. Will definitely be returning 5*****

A group of 8 stayed in Cartmel for a week and 4 of us tried the Pig and Whistle, off the back of a glistening reputation from where we were staying. The menu contained some interesting dishes, none of which really seemed to combine well...More

Very nice little pub, on the outskirts of the village. Food and drinks very nice, good range of beer, good quality and food made to order, staff are very friendly. Reccomend to anyone who likes small pub lunches.
