We booked onto the 2 hour farm ride. It was the first time we had found somewhere that could accommodate myself as an experienced rider and my husband who is 6ft 5 and less experienced. Some places have offered but the horses they thought would...More

The ride at Cumbria was the highlight of a three week trip to the UK. Almost a year ago I started communication with Annie to ensure I would be able to fit in a ride on a fairly tight schedule. Annie made sure that this...More

Enjoyed a lovely farm ride today on the supremely comfortable Zac. As before (previous visit a year ago) all safety aspects were explained and everyone given a horse to match their ability. Weather was pretty bad but it didn't spoil it for me. We were...More

One on my bucket list and my husband booked it as a surprise for my birthday. Was more than a little apprehensive; although I ride regularly, nothing as big as these horses and never in groups of more than three. Rang to confirm our heights...More

Beautiful well cared for horses. Great surroundings. Knowledgeable staff who love the animals. Really enjoyed the experience. I'm an experienced rider but the rides are tailored to suit all levels of experience. Thoroughly recommended.

Not much to say but wow. I didn't ride on the horses but friends did and it was such an amazing sight seeing these fabulously huge horses galloping along the beach. I'm told it was money very well spent . And well supervised .

i think the farm ride would be better for your husband. The longer rides on the beach are for the more experienced. I can recommend the farm rides though, having been on one myself.
