Couldn't have wished for a better way to start the Coast to Coast the sun was shining and the icecream van was out. Beautiful walk along the cliff top towards the lighthouse, really great having public conveniences so close by too.

Sheltered beach with cobbles by seawall, vast swathe of lovely clean sand with natural spring fed paddle ponds, shallow so ideal for little ones or for just jumping about in. Rock pool area for pond dipping by older children and good for kite flying.
