This site is well worth a visit. It`s a "good" walk from Keswick town centre & uphill. The standing stones are really thought provoking & the views are fantastic.

Always have to take a trip to the stone circle everytime I am in the area! Truly awesome bit of history along with great views and peace if you can catch it on a quiet day!

It's marvellous to think that these stones were put in place some 4,500 years ago. Our ancestors certainly knew what they were doing to choose such a site. It's surrounded by hills and the scenery is stunning in all directions. A visit won't take too...More

Planned a trip to here as a short walk and it's so worth it. On a nice day it's right up there with any location you could imagine. Please do visit. Our ancient ancestors had immaculate taste.

The stone circle was everything I thought it would be. My first, but won't be the last. Disappointed that it was the Druid's day off, but the very heavy mist enhanced the ambiance.

called a couple of times last week. lovely view of surrounding hills. on one visit a film crew was there - interesting to watch them filming.

Yes you can. There is a very easy route from Keswick. The footpath map is available from the Tourist Information office.
