A little gem in an idyllic location. It would be easy to miss, but well worth a visit. The drive to Wasdale head is quite demanding, but when combined with a few good walks, this is not to be missed

A small church which has an interesting history which is summarised on Wikipedia. It is claimed that some of the roof timbers came from Viking long ships. Close to the Wasdale Head Inn and well worth a visit.

Looked lovely through the window! Some poignant gravestones of people lost in faraway places. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK if not the world!!!!!!

Worth a visit when passing this area on your way to Sty Head Tarn or up Scafell. It is small but very interesting and well kept.
