Carsington Sports and Leisure offer water and land based activities right on the edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park! We offer tuition in Sailing, Windsurfing, Paddlesports and Powerboating for all ages and abilities. We also have a cycle hire with bikes for all the family, perfect for taking in the sights on our 8 mile off road cycle track. We can cater for individuals, families and groups of all sizes. We are an RYA recognised centre meaning that our instructors and equipment conform to the highest standards. We also run a well-stocked trout fishery offering fly fishing from boats on 750 acres of crystal clear water and stunning fish to be caught!

worth a visit for walks and shops and watch the birds in a hide been put up down near the waters edge and disabled people can visit as well cheap parking.

Fished Carsington on Saturday staff all helpful and friendly, managed to catc a few fish which is always a bonus. one of the best reservoirs around for trout fishing. will return. Thanks to all staff for a great day

Hired a bike for the 8 mile circuit round the lake. All efficiently handled. Good quality bike and reasonable price. Very clearly signed route and a useful map was provided.

What an excellent facility, well prices hire for boats and kayaks, good options for walking, dog friendly. you could easily spend a few hours here. The Ice cream Parlour is a must, some of the best ice cream I've tasted
