Visited yesterday for the 1st time. Arrived at 11.30 as advertised that miniature train runs from 11am at weekends. No train running, no cafe open, nice playground for children and picturesque park but overall a disappointment for a young child who was expecting to see...More

This is a popular place for good reasons. Even in the depths of winter there is a lot of things going on. There is a lot of dog walking with well socialised dogs, plenty of joggers and runners. There are a couple of hard tennis...More

Lovely park with something for the whole family to enjoy! Our kids (5 and 3) really enjoyed the playground and the train. The only downside I'd say is the train was a little expensive but there's still things to do and explore if you don't...More

Went down for the Park Run on Saturday morning - loved it. The run, the wildlife, the people -just fealt like a good place to be.

Beautifully kept park, good for children, dogs and all alike! Enjoy a picnic in the manicured gardens or take a train ride with a ice cream. Play poo sticks on the rickety rackety bridge, relive childhood memories in this family friendly park.

This is a pleasant park with good walks and my grandson loves the little crazy golf course. A good use of space in a crowded world.
