Great friendly service and cakes to die for!!! Seriously recommend the Oreo cake....... it’s absolutely amazing (and I don’t like Oreo biscuits 😁). Really worth a visit.

Had a wander around the gardens during the Melbourne festival - a bargain for £1 each! It was beautiful - wonderful trees and a yew corridor. The pool and birdcage were beautiful. Lots of little avenues leading to monuments or fountains. Very pretty walled garden.

The village is tucked away and if going by road the route should be checked out well in advance. Car parking is difficult but there is a public car park some 400 yards away.

We had free entry to the gardens here as RHS members so took advantage on a Sunday afternoon. I think on a sunny day they would be glorious as they were pretty good in the rain! I particularly liked the spooky yew tunnel. Plenty of...More
