It never ceases to amaze me how many hidden gems there are around my local area. Discovered a hidden part of forest on a walk today. Beautiful. Perfect for a forest school maybe?

A very pleasant walk through the forest, there are several different paths, and mostly all flat, there is a distinct lack of signposts in several places, which gives you a chance to get to know the locals.

Lots of good walks, trails and tracks with lots of named woodland walks within the National Forest - lots of new trees planted so very scenic - good for cycling and dog walking - trails and paths are well sign posted.

Lots and lots of walks and scenery. Good for biking also. Fantastic place if you have a dog or just fancy a walk in the fresh air. We are lucky to live round the corner from such wonderful countryside.

My family live in a village in the National Forest area. I love to visit. It is a beautiful area with lots of little picturesque villages, country pubs and places to visit.
