The carvings on the pews were amazing as were the crypts. Well worth a visit! Not huge inside, but you could spend quite a bit of time there.

So much of interest, the avenenue of yew commemorating the dead of 1916, the wood carvings in the choir, the beauty of its lines, and its almost cathrdal like design and aspiration,.

Lovely village conveniently placed for walking, biking and driving to places of interest. Plenty of places to stay and eat. The church is lovely and Tideswell deserves the name Cathedral Village of the Peak District.

The village is well worth a visit for its lovely shops and cafes and inns. It was a surprise to find such a beautiful church building in the centre of the village. Beautiful

Beautiful church can understand why the cathedral comes into it it's massive, old and beautiful kept inside and out, with gorgeous stained glass windows, loved the pews and the stone floor.

This is a beautiful cathedral. It apparently is open all the time, which is nice for visitors. We were so impressed.

This was a great surprise to us to visit, as we just expected a regular church. However this is huge! And full of interesting things to look at. It's wonderful that it's such an active church, which seems to take a central role in the community. I would recommend any visitor to Tideswell to go in and take a look.... More

It was open which was good. Very pretty church in the centre of Tideswell village. It has a cavernous interior, nice and clean with plenty of things to read. Not usually my cup of tea as once you have seen one English church you have seen them all. But was pleasantly surprised and well worth a stroll around if you... More
