Absolutely lovely place to learn some history with well preserved signs and gardens. Personally i think this would be a lot better for those with children as theres plenty of room for them to run around and have a picnic! Thank you Bramber castle for a lovely trip.

Very much a ruin but with a splendid view all round the mound so making the effort is rewarding - the church is also worth a visit.

Pleasant spot but this is very much a ruin. If you are nearby it is worth a look - but it's not worth a journey.

We stopped here to give the dogs a walk on a journey. A large site on a hilltop, with very little of the castle remaining. The tower seen in the photos is more like a lonely "Old Man of Hoy" . The best feature would be the panoramic views over the River Arun but on a sleety, drizzly morning this... More

Not much left of the castle but maintained by English Heritage. However can be muddy and a bit slippery when wet. Worth it for the views though.

I often trek up here - have had many a picnic and childrens birthday party in this little gem. Shared by lots of local families and dogs. The moat is good for a walk round but very slippery in wet weather.

There's really not a lot to see but then it is ancient. In a lovely spot when ch earns it 3 stars. Church next door is a lot more interesting and also ancient.

It is very pretty area and worth a wak around the town and maybe a bite for lunch. But as alot have said the castle itself is a little disappointing. Really not much to see, drove for miles to see it when everything else was closed. Lovely little walk would come again just have more of a day trip planned
