Beautiful little lake with lovely camp spots. Loved the trail to the lake from our campsite. A nice man fishing on the dock let my son see his fish.

Nice little lake. Great fishing and camping in the heart of David Thompson country...
Try the david Thompson resort for local lodging and activities. Fish the abraham by Cline river drainage.

Sandy beach, trails around the lake, lots of camping space, close to Crescent Falls. Well worth a visit! Spend some time around Abraham Lake too.

We visited this lake with two families. We both had canoes and children under 5 years old. It was the perfect lake for practicing canoe moves and got the kids to join in. Very clam and peaceful lake. Well worth the visit.

Definitely something to see and do if you are in the area. The lake can be cold but this is welcoming on hot summer days.

A nice lake in the spring and fall to go fishing and have a picnic. Lots of access points to the water and a nice dock with benches to sit and watch nature.

Goldeye Lake is an absolutely beautiful mountain lake a few miles west of Nordegg. There is a lodge that caters to medium to larger groups, conventions, anniversaries, weddings, and many other groups. It is a beautiful place to go either in Summer or Winter. Don't forget to bring that fishing pole, great great fishing experience.

Very clean and well maintained campsite. The lake is small and easy to paddle around. It is quite shallow but very clear. You can't be on the lake for more than 3 minutes without seeing or hearing a fish jump. There is a great short walking trail around the lake as well. Washrooms are kept clean and the fire supply was kept full. June 2015 rates are $32.00 per night including one wheelbarrow of firewood per day. There is a pump for non potable water - no other services. The sites fill up in the weekend but we're quiet during the weekday.

This is one of the three lakes we visited while we were in Nordegg for a holiday (along with Fish lake and Jackfish lake) and it was our favourite of the three. We didn't camp there, but we have decided that we will someday. The campground looked pretty nice, and even though it was full, it was pretty quiet and laid back. But the lake itself is why we were there. Along with our 8 year old boy we fished, walked the 1-2 k trail around the lake, swam and played all around the lake and loved all of it (except that we didn't catch anything, but it's about the fishing - not the catching!! and I think there's plenty of fish to catch on a good day). The lake and the whole area is beautiful, not too crowded and there's lots of spots to fish, a good dock and the water was nice and cold on a hot day.

Beautiful little lake. Campground has small campsites but are still nice. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout. Fishing at this lake is great. Caught several decent sized fish. Would recommend this place to people who love the outdoors
