Simply fantastic from start to finish. These people are fantastic in there approach to back country scenic experiences. Great with children and great with the whole family. Horses are really well taken care of and ample area. Easy acces off highway 11 and ample parking with turn arround. We will deffinately be returning to the ranch in spring. People with mobility issues have the ability to ride also with steps to assist in getting onto and off the horses. I am sure they have other means if neccesary as well if asked for. The prices are very reasonable for the area, very unexpected, but very pleased. We have been on many trail rides, this is in our top two of all time.

Did a 4 day pack trip with McKenzie and it was great. Good people, good country and good food. If you are from out of province or out of country this is a great way to experience the Rockies

My wife and I went on a 6-day trip and it was one of the best experiences of our lives! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Shelley, Maddy, and Logan, our guides, were professional, knowledgeable, skilled, and very friendly. The horses were safe and steady, the meals were EXCELLENT, and the camps were well organized. During this trip you will see some of the most beautiful country in the world! We saw breathtaking mountain views, beautiful blue lakes, forests, flowers, and wildlife (including Mountain Sheep and California Golden Trout). SUGGESTIONS 1. Ensure you are in good shape before the trip as it can be physically demanding. 2. Bring ALL the items on the equipment list you are provided. Don't question the list as we needed everything on it at one point during the trip. 3. Bring your phone so you can take pictures and videos, there are so many awesome sights you will want to capture. It's helpful to bring an external battery to charge your phone.

I went on a 6 day trip with my husband for our 25th wedding anniversary and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mackenzie Trails West! The scenery is spectacular and I loved the challenge of living in the wilderness with no electricity or running water. The guides Maddy, Logan and Shelley were so much fun and made us feel like one of the family. They are world class guides, cooks and cheering section! The horses are tough as nails and so patient (so were the guides..lol) This is something every adventurer should do!

We book an hour ride every year while camping in the area. Horses are calm and lovely. Our 8 year old grandson had a blast talking horses and "life" with our lead hand Kate. Both Kate and Danielle were knowledgeable and friendly and provided a safe and informative riding experience.
