Its a sensational drive up to Cape Tribulation especially if you happen to see some cassowary on the side of the road as we did. Drive slowly. Look around. Enjoy the beach vistas. A great part of the world. Don't miss it

What a wonderful place and so different from most of Australia. A place to see nature in the wild. We saw wild crocodiles and cassowaries up really close.

Lovely visit , costs $27 return on 5 min ferry ride, can take your hire car as far as cape tribulation as road is bitumen , some lovely walks, particularly the mangrove walks, did not do any tours, walked along cow bay, weather can change...More

When in cairns there are a lot of tours so you can see cape Tribulation. Billy tea tours is a really good one, they are on tripadvisor.
