Description:

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you into the beating heart of the Daintree...

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided zipline experience through six tree platform and the world's first Human Hamster Wheel cable lift. This is nature's own spectacular high definition live stream, available every day from Cape Tribulation.

The guides are with you every step of the way, sharing their wit and wisdom with interpretation on every platform and they also control your flight throughout the tour, so there’s absolutely no experience necessary, making the tour suitable for all ages from three to 103.

The platforms range from 3.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground and each one reveals a different level of the rainforest with unique and spectacular views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef (don’t forget your camera!!)

There are eight two-hour tours daily, with at least one hour up in the rainforest canopy. It’s essential to book, especially during school holidays.

absolutely brilliant, being high up in the rainforest and wizzing around via zip line. Staff were fantastic; Bill, Aiden, Lee and guy. Really helped make it fun, exciting, educational and safe. The added bonus was having funny things written on our helmets, Mine said tarzan. There’s not much to do in cape tribulation so I’d recommend this even more so,... More

Had a tour van pick me up from my hostile in Cairns to go Cape Tribulation for a few days to do some adventuring. The tours are the only way to go with the package deal, otherwise renting a car to get there from Cairns would be outrageous and then you'd have to pay to take it on the ferry... More

Being over 60, I usually don't behave childishly - must behave according to my age you know- but this one I couldn't resist. The Canopy Tour is actually a set of stations located on the highest trees of the forest and you move from one station to another on a Zip Line. Sometimes you do it tandem, sometimes alone and... This was probably my second favourite experience out at cape trib! We had 3 guides assisting us and teaching us all the cool rain forest facts they knew! It started raining half way through but that didnt slow us down. it was just as much fun. Thank you to everyone here for providing such a fun and entertaining experience!!

The best thing I did in cape tribulation was this zip lining course. Ryan, James and Guy were brilliant- best instructors I've had on a tour and so much fun. Rain didn't even dampen the day. Got to see a rare bennetts tree kangaroo hanging in the canopy. Instructors were so helpful giving us information about the rainforest and all... More

Zipline, you might think it should be linked with excitingly fast speeded. For some other sites it might be just that. But in Daintree......No. Main idea here is not for speed! Zipline is just a way the professional crews and tourists travel from one tree to another. What makes this tour so great and even exhilarating is, the whole group... More

My friend and i had a great time flying high in the canopy! There were 6 of us in the group which was a nice size. The staff ( Astral, Scorpio and Sidney) were professional, informative and fun. Safety was paramount and we felt safe at all times. The guys were really informative about the jungle which was a nice... More

This is more of a canopy ramble rather than a zip line. You have to tandem the first few of the six lines so that makes it really, really slow. Then the ones you do alone are quite short so you don't pick up any real speed. The guides all have fantastic personality and information about the rainforest around you... More

took my 2 boys the youngest who is far from being a thrill seeker and is scared of heights but after the initial shock at the start he totally loved it. Staff are brilliant cannot fault them, I consider this a must do when you are in FNQ :-)
