Very windy but well worth the visit. Great 365 deg views over Cooktown , the ocean and surrounding areas. Great place for photos. Very steep drive to top. Can't take caravans up there

A 360 degree view from this lookout hill Captain Cook found. It is a beautiful spot and a definite must when visiting Cooktown. Even on a very windy day. Lots of history and the plaques on the lookout are very informative.

This is not only an historic spot but it gives you amazing views from the sea to the mountains. Not to be missed when you are in Cooktown.

Really loved the views from this lookout. I felt a part of history as I read the extract of words captain James cook wrote from here. Amazing views all around. Worth a visit if you love views and scenery
