A group of us had a short cruise experience with a guide who was exceptionally friendly and knowledgable. He showed us a female crocodile adjacent to her nest in what he said was a most unsuitable location proximate to a main channel and that she had probably picked that location due to her young age and inexperience. The mangrove swamps... More

Unfortunatly this was late in the afternoon on a high tide which is really the worst time to be seeing any crocodiles in the wild usually a morning with a low tide is best for crocodiles spotting. We did not see any crocodiles but we did see some birdlife and Our guide was very informative of the locale history Fauna and... If you are interested in the rain forest, crocodiles or wild life, there are few places better than the Daintree River Cruise Center. First, the staff is beyond friendly. Shaynee at the front desk and Adam in the boat, made our family cruise a very memorable experience. They also cut their lunch short and started the cruise 30 minutes earlier... More

The staff were beyond friendly and it was lovely to enjoy tea and biscuits in the courtyard before heading off on the cruise. The cruise itself was very tranquil and Jarra knew how to answer any of our questions. We even saw a crocodile, which was amazing! They're very respectful to the region, not disturbing wildlife in order to show... More

Thank you so much for your lovely review - that was an unexpected Christmas present! Jarrah is a terrific guide and a dedicated wildlife warrior so I'm not surprised you enjoyed your time out with him. We are a small, family owned company so we really appreciate your feedback and you taking the time to rate us. I hope you... More

Had a great time! Very professionally run whilst at the same time warm and friendly. Our guide knew his stuff and is also clearly passionate about this incredible ecosystem and it's residents. Whilst croc sightings aren't guaranteed (and that's to be expected given they are in their natural environment - much nicer than those horrid baiting shows I've seen videos... More

This morning we had a great boat trip on the daintree river. The skipper is very well informed about everything that lives in and near the river. He has a thorough and deep knowledge of crocodiles. We even spotted a crocodile. Besides the above he is a charming and humorous person and great fun to make a trip with. The... More

Overall the experience was ok, but didn't hit the mark. They were running late for our trip, which normally we wouldn't mind but it was very hot waiting out in the sun! When we did get underway we saw 3 baby crocs (the size of small lizards) but that was all. I understand that they aren't going to always know... More

Hi Katie, Thanks for the review although we are sorry to hear you didn't get to see as much as you hoped! Working with wildlife can be challenging like that - they just don't run on a schedule. If you are still in the area and would like to come back for another cruise give me a call and I... More

We joined this river cruise as part of the Billy Tea Safari Daintree excursion. This was both tranquil and exciting -- tranquil because you drifted down river and saw all sorts of beautiful flora, but the fauna (read: crocodiles!) were really exciting. Don't miss this. Very hospitable with a cup of tea and a biscuit before you embark, and friendly... More
