I love to browse and always buy Aussie gifts for friends when I travel. A friendly and efficient jeweler is available if you need a watch battery in a hurry and you can always find a gift with a difference if you take the time .

From a time gone by. Very retro. worth a stop on a long drive, this and the Nature Display in Ayr. Lots of interesting rocks and minerals

Was passing through on a recent road trip. The outside of the shop looks old and manky and i agree with other reviews that the inside is old too, but were not looking at the building, its whats in the shop that counts!! If you are a gem and rock lover like myself, you will be in gemstone, rock and... More

The rocks exhibition is amazing, particularly the agates. Sourced from all over the world, and quite beautiful - well worth going for that alone. The retail side is very disappointing, goods displayed in old, poorly maintained cabinets, hard to see, poor lighting and not a very wide range. Also felt the sales staff could do with some training in customer... More

On a recent road trip we called into Ashworth's for a welcome break from driving for a short while. The view of the building as we pulled into the car park was not promising. It looked old and well past its prime. This impression did not change as we entered the building. It's not pristine and not even particularly neat.... More

I remember this place as a kid. My eyes would sparkle in amazement at the rocks and crystals on display. Maybe I've aged but so has the displays. It is still good but it no longer amazes me.

This used to be a fabulous spot but over the past years it has been run down and now is dusty, tired and staff not interested in the walk in customers. Such a shame as it used to be an exciting place to stop and shop

If you love rocks and minerals then make sure you stop by. Bargains to be had and staff were helpful and knowledgable.
