Markets, markets, markets...I love them! We drove up especially to see the markets but were very disappointed. It was just a tourist con. No atmosphere, overpriced, grubby, vacant stalls. Don't waste your time.

I enjoyed the trip here via Skyrail. However getting here I felt I was being sold stuff/souvenirs left,right and centre. No one peddling anything but took away from the charm of everything that otherwise could have demonstrated Kuranda,it's aboriginal heritage and history. Instead the 'village'...More

Where the original market is. It takes you down little paths and alleys and has quirky shops and eats
