Overview

We make award winning wines from Tropical Fruit and no this does not mean they are sweet and sticky. They range from very dry wines to ports and they are all commercial standard. The wines are single-fruit wines, not blends. All the fruits we use have big flavours and we grow them in the organic way and in our own orchard. The flavours of the fruits are retained in the wine.

Very impressed with the wines on offer here, the host was very informative, and it was clearly explained that you could have a taste of 4 wines for free. We went there with the intention of buying at least 1, so tasted them all. We...More

This winery is set amongst the most amazing orchard of all the fruits used in their wine! I was a little hesitant about it, don't love the sweet wine but the wine is not sweet, it is well thought out and delicious! The owner was...More

This little winery is set in the rainforest. The lovely tasting room is under the owners house. Excellent range of wines to try. Owners were lovely and so knowledgeable. The ports/fortified wines are magnificent. Well worth the little detour.

Go to shannonvale fruit winery if you get a chance it is exactly as it says. A privately owned business run by a lovely husband and wife couple and they are generous with the tastings. All the fruit trees are basically in their back yard...More

A most satisfying experience and not to be missed being so handy to Port Douglas and Mossman. An excellent range of tropical fruit flavours. Be bold and be daring and you won't go away empty handed.

Sounds like the perfect afternoon. A wine tasting followed by a swim in a freshwater creek. Cheers, Tony and Trudie Woodall

Hi, Thank you for your review. We also like Grape wines but will always use these wines with food. The flavour of each fruit is very matchable with food. Tony.

What a lovely little winery with a nice selection of unique wines. Our tastings were supported by great advice on what would accompany each wine, temperature to serve them at etc... keep up the great work. 🥂

Thank you for your review. We always provide full information on our wines because they are so different. Match the wine with the foods you eat. Much easier than with Grape wine.

Peter W (Peter Wood) did not come to the Shannonvale Tropical Fruit Winery on this occasion. He has a personal dispute with me and this is a way of "punishing" me. This is a form of business blackmail and I would like it stopped and this person to be notified that his membership will be withdrawn if it happens again. Thank you, Tony Woodall
