The Stanthorpe Museum is worth a visit, $7 admission but you can return for a week on that. We had two 90 minute visits and the displays are quite well presented.

Spent a very leisurely hour and half strolling through the various buildings. Easy access - extensive displays with good information on items. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Even found an idea to try to display broken previous items.

What a wonderful display of local history - we spent a couple of hours here reading stories, reminiscing about the way school was, old telephones and Nana's house. A must on the way past.
