We had a lunch booked with friends at the Toolangi Tavern (totally worth it) and thought we’d go for a hike and loved it. The track (we did the Tangledoot Loop) in parts is overgrown but enjoyed walking amongst the fern.

Up a dirt track and a bit out of the way, but the Wirrawilla Rainforest walk is worth the drive. From the small-ish carpark, there is a well formed track that leads down to the boardwalk, which meanders through the rainforest setting. There is a...More

This was a really pretty walk: including streams and beautiful rainforest scenery! I would recommend this as it is doable in a day from Melbourne.

This is a short boardwalk circuit that is quite short but can be made longer as it connects to other bushwalks. The fern gully and creeks are stunning.

This forest walk was stunning, so lush and green, and the sound of the water rushing along the creek was very soothing. You have to travel along a 5km unsealed road to get here but it is very wide and smooth so suitable for any...More

The approach road is not paved. It was super silent from car park and we did the 1 hour walk only since we had elderly and an toddler. Wife and I fell in love with this place. It was mesmerising with a small stream flowing...More
