A pleasant spot if you need a quick rest from driving , the lake is only 50m off the main road and has a lively tea house too. Plenty of free parking

When up in the Tablelands we stop here most of the time. I like my freshly baked scones Outside seating area is stunning, directly overlooking the Lake. You can walk around the Lake area or take a 45 min boat trip.

A beautiful lake with rain forest up to the shore. The hotel looked good and had great views over the lake. Trails are good for Tree Kangaroo but we didn't see one.

Lovely crater lake surrounded by dense tropical rain forest. The cruise is a bit overrated. Nice walk in the forest. Pleasant Tea House (see separate review).

Gem of a location on the Atherton tablelands. Beautiful crater lake with well constructed path through the bushland. Some great trees including a couple of impressive Kauri and also some unique and interesting wildlife including rainbow bee-eaters and musky rat kangaroo

Great staff all round make this an enjoyable experience all round. We enjoyed the 930 cruise, full of fish, eels, ducks, snakes, turtles, birds etc. The guide was very friendly, informative and fun. We followed up with an excellent Devonshire tea which was great. Thanks.
