This is a short skinny pyramid of rocks cemented together to mark the center of the continent. It is right at the highway intersection, so very easy access. Not a park around it like the geographic center of the US has, but how can you...More

Route 2 is a great introduction to North Dakota. And Rugby is a good stop. The cafe next door was very good homemade food

I found this monument by accident, and I’m glad that I did. Even though there’s not much there, it’s still a pretty cool sight. It’s just the monument, three flags and some plaques. If you’re in the area, it’s worth checking out.

We thought it was very interesting and exciting to be standing in the center of North America. It is right on the side of HWY 2 so it is to visit and take a few pictures.

Ok yeah I’m giving this 5 stars since it’s such a kitschy idea to stop here and it’s really easy to do so. Stop and take some pics and be on your way. I’m glad we did!

Like others have said, I wouldn’t go out of my way to see this but we were passing through the area and came up on it. Pretty cool to say i’ve beem in the center of North America. Quick photo stop. Nothing much else around.

I had not expected to stop here but it was right along the highway. It was interesting to see. I wouldn't drive out of my way to see it but I'm glad I stopped for the photo op.

OK, so I brought my daughters here on the way to visit an aunt in Towner because I remember stopping here when I was little. Takes just a few minutes to get photos, it is a cool old stone cairn. As others mentioned, it may...More
