There’s no better day out with the family than hunting through our patch to find the perfect strawberry. We've been running pickings at our farm since 1975, and never missed a season. It’s become an Adelaide institution during the warmer months from November to April. Visit our shop, grab a punnet and head in to start your hunt for just $4* (with strawberry prices usually working out at around $9.50* a kg). Just make sure you give yourself enough time to pick as our shop closes at 5pm! Children 13 years and under are free. Group bookings are essential - special prices for groups of children apply. Our Farm Shop is open 9am - 5pm every day of the year (except Christmas). *Prices are correct as of September 2013. Prices are subject to change.

We visited and tasted a variety of the delicious products. Staff were friendly and helpful. Have been enjoying consuming the lavender raspberry jam and the quince paste since our visit. Enjoyable part of our day out in the Adelaide Hills.

Beerenberg is the perfect place to visit on a nice sunny day in the hills! Delicious strawberries and plenty of beerenberg products and goodies to purchase in the store.

Not worth visiting unless you was to see the extensive range of products they have for sale. No tastings. Very little information about the history of the company. Not even a simple cafe. You'd think they'd have cafe we their products.

Small shop with limited items. Expected many more products here. Old familiar jars are now gone, replaced by generic looking jars. Not much of a selection.

Hi, We are a team of dragon boaters, 10 of us from the Breast Cancer Foundation Singapore (BCF Paddlers in the Pink) coming to Adelaide's West Lakes Regatta Course for a dragon boat race, The Club Crew World Championship 2016 from 29 Mar to 3rd April. We are planning to tour Adelaide after the Race. We will probably be driving over on the 5 April to your Strawberry Farm for a picking and tasting as it is highly recommended. However there are a few questions I hope you could help. 1.How far is it from Barossa Valley ? We will be spending the night at Barossa on the 4 April. 2. Do we have to make a reservation ahead for 10 of us for picking? 3. Is morning picking better then afternoon? 4. Do you have a nice restaurant in your Farm where we can have a lovely lunch or afternoon tea? 5. How much time to we need in the Farm for our planning purposes as we would like to spend some time touring and shopping at Hahndorf Village and finally catching the ferry to Kangaroo Island at 6pm. Appreciate your replies soonest possible. Thank you very much. Cheers, Jean Leng

We were visitors from Victoria, but can confirm the other replies. Unless you are being driven by a local driver, I would allow 2 hours from the Barossa to Hahndorf. Roads are easy to follow. I can agree that morning visit... More
