Called in there after lunch and because we were with a family, we put down a rug under a large tree and ordered a bottle of their wonderful Grenache! Great place to relax and children are also welcome. You can take some nibbles with you and the view is amazing overlooking the gorge! It is definitely worth visiting if you... More

Beautiful setting; at the top of the hill overlooking the Onkaparinga Valley on one side and vineyards and the ocean on the other. The service was top notch. Loved that staff moved around the venue and poured tasters for everyone wherever they were sitting, as opposed to the traditional bar-style cellar. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming and seemed... More

If you are a person who wants a modern five star venue then this is not the place for you. If you want to be part of a landscape that definitely shows an Australian outback, the feel of a dry area overlooking the Onkaparinga Gorge over a beautiful stone wall, sitting outside under the roof of an old wool shed... And they have some awesome wines too. We loved especially mourvedre! Staff was informative and helpful. This winery is a must visit when in McLaren Vale.

Would be a good place to go with a group of friends. For a couple probably a miss. Friendly service, but no personal touch and no conversation about the tastings or variety. Wine is certainly over priced for what is offered.

Hi Robert, Thank you for your feedback on your recent visit to our cellar door. It is disappointing to hear that your experience lacked a personal touch. This is generally something that we pride ourselves on and one of the reasons why we do not accept large groups. Sadly it seems we missed the mark on this occasion. If you... More

Loved the casual atmosphere at this winery. The staff are so unpretentious and did the tastings in a most casual way. Their wine is delicious. Really enjoyed our visit and the view is awesome too

Beautiful location, great wines, worthy of the recommendation by a colleague. Loved that it was small, personal and completed focused on red wines!

There were 4 wines offered for tasting when we visited late September '16...all outstanding. Grenache, Tempranillo, Mourvedre, Shiraz...all as good as anything we tasted at 21 other wineries in McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills. Great location mear the Gorge too. Don't miss this one! Don, Perth
