I visited Chapel Hill with a group of friends as part of a bigger tour. It was definitely the highlight out of 5 McLaren Vale venues. We did the paid tasting, which cost about $15 and took place around a formal dining table in the old stone chapel. They took four of their Shiraz's, of similar age and price range-... More

Visited Chapel hill as part of the trail hopper tour - I can't recommend visiting Chapel Hill enough! We did the premium tasting experience with matching meats/cheeses in the converted Chapel which was a beautiful space. It was also a refreshing change after the usual rush of standing at a bar while tasting. The meats & wines were outstanding -... More

Quite well done but not enough staff, so the one guy we had, (who was very good) had to keep dashing off to look after others. OK wine, nothing to get excited about, well for our palettes anyway!

Great service. Young gentleman was genuinely interested in us as customers and provided a great experience. Will be back. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

We spent about an hour on our visit and tasted some great wines. The Cellar Door was build around an old chapel. It is worth spending at least an hours having a look around the building and doing a wine tasting.

A group of us had a booking for 1 hour and were placed in a seperate room very pleasant. We were not treated very well by the mature aged staff lady who ignored us mainly for the hour as she concentrated on small groups. We had to approach her several times to provide us with the next tasting. The fact... More

Visited Chapel Hill travelling from McLaren vale. We're made to feel very welcome. The hostess explained the history of the vineyards and location. The wines were sensational and had 2 cartons sent home. Will visit again.

A vist here today to try some Chapel Hill wines. The setting is really lovely with a superbly renovated old church. The staff were exceptionally helpful and happy to discuss their wines and wine making. It's a lovely place and highly recommended.

the old buildings have been nicely done up but the expanse of paving and the clean lines feels a little too sterile for me. wine is great. the place doesn't feel inviting like some others

Beautiful location and treated with great service. The hostess recommended other great little locations in the area that were great.
