Take a short stroll or horse tram ride over the wooden causeway that connects the mainland at Victor Harbor to Granite Island Recreation Park. Enjoy the coastal scenery and discover the island's interesting history along the Kaiki Walk or go fishing from the jetty, or causeway (no fishing from breakwater). You may even spot a southern right whale between June and October.

This island is great to explore and take a long walk through. You can get to it by walking over the causeway or getting on the horse drawn tram.

Granite island is a beautiful walk across from Victor Harbour. It’s an easy walk or you can take a trip in the horse drawn tram. It is really worth the visit with breathtaking, tranquil views of the ocean

I'm afraid not - dogs and cats are prohibited - there are even spot fines for anyone who misses/ignores the signs. Walk out to the Bluff instead just along the coast a bit at Encounter Bay
