Quick stop on a windy day. Not our first visit, so we enjoyed the museum and skipped the fort this time. Since there was no crowd, we were able to browse at our leisure. Fun attire for photo ops... perfect for kids' enjoyment.

Given that the museum is within walking distance of the place where the Lewis and Clark expedition spent the winter of 1804-1805, this is a must visit stop for Lewis and Clark history buffs. The center alone can be thoroughly seen in 1.5 to 2...More

We decided to go because we've been on the Lewis and Clark trail several times in different states. The price included the fort. We learned a few things we didn't know. It was worth the time and money

Perched above the Missouri River, this is an informative place to stop for a quick break, lots of information, and to take a few pictures. The statues out front are pretty cool!

The interpretive center contains a number of galleries with information about the Lewis and Clark expedition as well as the agricultural history of North Dakota and art by local artists. You can get a combined admission that includes Fort Mandan.

We enjoyed this facility on the whole. There were many interesting exhibits and it was well-researched. It appears to be a work in progress and I'd like to return in a few years to see what progress they have made.
