Started at the office with an amazing lady...Karen. Her passionate description of the sites and highlights is not to be missed. She really made our journey most enjoyable. The flowers, trees and wildlife were spectacular. The history captured on each headstone and monument takes you back in time. An absolutely must see...

Lake View Cemetery is a great place to spend some quiet time. There are all kinds of interesting grave sites and some famous ones as well. Many people treat the cemetery like a park: eating lunch there, reading books there, talking walks there. It's beautiful and well maintained.

There are many famous people here, Rockefeller being one. Which is a tomb worth visiting with its Tiffany Glass. When scrap metals were selling at huge prices, many grave yards that had such tombs were subject to theft of ornate brass doors and such. However, with scrap being good and low now, that is out of the news. This mammoth... More

The Angel of Death is here. So is Elliot Ness. Plenty of beautiful markers to photograph as well as a gorgeous landscape.
