I was very impressed and took pictures from all sides! I didn't expect it to be so expansive. Coming from the Buffalo area we don't have anything that closely resembles this work of art!

In the center square of town this free stop has the walls inside engraved with the names of all the brave men and women who served in the Revolutionary War form the nearby counties.Beautiful Bronze statues and the caretakers is one of the nicest polite people you could ever meet.

Located in public square in Downtown Cleveland. This is right across from the entrance to Tower City. It's free and displays many Civil War artifacts. The curator was filled with information and tid-bits on local history you just cant get from the library.

This monument gives you a window to the past. It is a beautiful monument with a congenial staff. There is information about soldiers who served and beautiful sculptures and windows. I really enjoyed my visit.

Until I was there for Winterfest, I did not realize you could actually go inside the monument. There is some interesting information and visuals on Cleveland's contribution to the civil war if you are interested in that kind of thing. The space though was old musty. Not really worth the time to make a special trip there unless you are... More

I was stuck in traffic and got to see this about five times from every angle. It is surrounded by a very close street, almost an after through the in city planning. The monument itself beautiful...easy access and location....horrible.

This is a beautiful monument and full of history. Tim, who runs the monument, is full of historical knowledge and eager to share. A historic Cleveland gem that is maintained by people who actually care about history.

If you are on Public Square, you cannot miss the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument. To honour the fallen in such a spectacular way. If you study the significance of each statue, you understand the deeper meaning on the monument. My mother and I got to do their underground tunnel tour which was very informative and interesting. You learn such a... More
