The Flats was probably the only happening place in the City of Cleveland when we were there. It is a spot for young 20-30 maybe 40 somethings. It doesn't mean that older folks... read more

Perfect to walk around on a nice day. There were so many cool restaurants/bars, and more to be open this summer. We went to the winter music festival and it was packed but so much fun! Parking is not a problem although you do have to pay.

A variety of places to eat and drink. Parking is not a problem and the atmosphere is great. The city put large amounts of time into the flats and it is on the rise again. Take the time to visit the Aquarium. You can find great entertainment a nd awesome food. There is something for everyone no matter what age... More

My husband and I decided to check out this area on a cloudy Sunday afternoon when the weather was exceptionally warm for January. Parking is easy on a Sunday, with each restaurant offering valet parking, public parking square in the middle and parking structure up the STEEP hill. It was fun to start on one end and travel around the... More

The Flats was probably the only happening place in the City of Cleveland when we were there. It is a spot for young 20-30 maybe 40 somethings. It doesn't mean that older folks wouldn't like it, I am only informing you of the majority age demographic. There are a few restaurants that might peak your fancy. There are some for... More

A nice place to eat or go for a walk. A lot of bars and drinking options. My favorite is the Cat Alley Oyster Bar. Others are just as good. The river few is nice and many new built flats. Great for a night out.

This locale has come a long way since the prohibition and Cuyahoga caught fire. Tidy little big city.

Today, my husband and I took a drive to the Flats in Cleveland, Ohio. The Flats is comprised of both east and west banks of the Cuyahoga River. The Flats was once a thriving venue for nightclubs, fine dining restaurants, casual restaurants and bars. It was difficult to even get into the doors of some restaurants which had long waiting... Water, boaters, lake freighters, food, beverages and some great sunsets. The east bank has more restaurants to choose from and has been recently redeveloped with more to come...Margaritaville coming soon. The west back has old reliable Shooters, and the Music Box and the Aquarium. You can also go on a dinner cruise on the Nautica Queen. The water taxi runs... More

With a 2 year old grandson crazy about trains planes and automobiles we thought we would park in the muni lot and take the waterfront train to the flats. It was a huge hit. Lunch at Alley Cat on the patio let us watch the bridge raise and fall as trains and boats passed by. A walk on the river... More
