My family has been visiting state capitol buildings over the years. Each one has its' own character and is unique to each state. The Ohio State Capitol building is beautiful and full of history. We took a guided tour of the building. While standing in...More

The statehouse has a fabulous historical tour. I never tire of taking visitors form near and afar. It is always an experience to come away from feeling closer to government and better understanding the history of the state and the legislative process. A do not...More

This is an impressive historical building. If you think this tour is for grade school students only, I hope you will reconsider. I was impressed by what I observed, and also by the facts presented. The tour was arranged as part of jury duty service,...More

They weren't giving tours on the day we visited, so maybe it would be better with a tour. Been to several statehouses and this one is at the bottom of the list. The museum has few artifacts, and pushes current agendas ( teenage drivers permits,...More

I've taken the free tour twice over the past few years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant. There is so much history in this building and the architecture is stunning. I highly recommend taking a tour!
