The Ohio theater is from the ornate Victorian times. Gold and red velvet adorn the theater. It is easy to access from the Sheridan hotel, with valet parking, and not too large to manage if you are older or have mobility issues. They also serve beer and wine. If choosing wine get a double. Two can share, it is in... More

The Ohio is a great place to see a play, musical or concert. It has been around a very long time and while some of the seats are tight it gives everyone a pretty good view even from the cheap seats. Definitely worth checking out.

First off, The Ohio Theater is stunning. This has got to be the most beautiful place that I have seen a show. While it was really over heated yesterday, they did do their best to cool it down after everyone complained of how hot it was inside. It does get a bit crowded trying to get to your seat, but... We went to a production of Cinderella here. The theater is extremely attractive on the inside. The seats were comfortable, the acoustics were great, and we had a great time.

We have been enjoying performances here for over forty years. This is a great venue for plays , with very few bad seats. The downtown Columbus experience must include a trip here for fantastic entertainment.

I have been going to the Ohio Theatre since I was a kid. It is such a historical and magical place. Come for the entertainment, but stay for the ambiance.

We attended the Beethoven concert this fall and it was wonderful. The building is historical and the music never disappoints. I grew up coming here with my father every weekend during season for the Symphony as he had season tickets. I really missed it. You can easily purchase tickets to just one concert online. They frequently have guest musicians and... More

Attended the special session of the State Supreme Court for my son's swearing in as a lawyer. The organ music was beautiful and the inside is beautiful. It made the waiting go quickly. There is so much to see. I would enjoy having the opportunity to see a play or musical there.

I've been to a number of events in this historic, restored theater and it is always a delight. The decor is classic and sumptuous. Just walking into the auditorium gives you the feeling that something special is about to happen. It literally sets the stage for a nice afternoon or evening out. Take advantage of their well-planned season.
