If your looking for new place to walk or job, Sharon Woods Metro Park is a great choice. The main loop is 3.8 miles and travels through woods and fields. Easy to spot deer and even small groups of wild turkeys.

The first time I stopped by here I was walking the paths and saw a whole herd of deer. Have yet to see it again but love to sit by the small lake and watch nature and people.

Sharon Woods park is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is an oasis of outdoors life in the city. Take a look at my picture of a beautiful sunset.

This park is well managed with planned activities. The trails are paved so they are accessible to anyone. They have fishing gear for you to borrow and nice picnicking areas.

At rush hour hard to get in and out just north of the Schrock/Cleveland intersection, but once you're in, it's a wonderfully relaxing place. There's a big paved loop on the outside of the park, probably 2/3 shady, that takes me a slow jog an...More
