We attended the American Bird Expo held on the GIAC grounds. We were all impressed with the habitat recovery and enhancement at this Scioto River site. The visitor center is well-equipped. Our only criticism on that is that the small classroom/presentation rooms have virtually no soundproofing so any noise in the central area is disturbing. The grounds are a delight,... More

Lots to see, good way to see nature and go for a walk. Lots of nice trailers, lots of cool things to see, and central location.

Well equipped indoor learning center with live and local critters from nearby Scioto River and useful displays of flora and fauna of the area. Walks in nearby acres of natural prairie also with guides. Dog park and unique climbing rocks and age-specific other exercise equipment available.

After dinner in the brewery district we drove over to enjoy the sunset. Firefly abounded and the breeze was perfection. There are 3 place in the park where the skyline can be comfortably viewed. 1. The rocking chairs at the main building. 2. The top of the water tower. 3. The park benches by the river at the front entrance.... More

This is a nice park for walking and running. Asphalt walkways and a boardwalk. Rock climbing wall and an obstacle course. Nice shelter houses. The Audubon Center is small with some frogs and turtles on display. Beautiful views of the park and downtown Columbus from the porch. Worth a trip.

We went just before sunset. There is a lot to explore, with a nice swampy backdrop. I don't know how we hadn't heard of this before.

We meet at this facility once a month for our organization where we host roughly 100 people and have a guest speaker with lunch. This place is very accommodating, the employees work well with us and are flexible, the catering service is excellent, and overall we have only had good experiences. If you are looking for a place to have... More

This is a recent addition to park system and has all kinds of things to do for children. The paths are connected to other paths in Columbus, and the nature building is pretty cool.
