Pros: Interesting for all ages. A playground for kids, roses for everyone! While the roses bloom from May-october, other flowers start blooming in march! The trees along the creek near the park of roses are a great mini-hike in the winter. Bring your bike and bike along the olentangy trail. Bring a frisbee or a hammock and hang out in... More

This is a regular stop in our local faves, just as it is for many others. If you are local and haven't been....why not? If you are a visitor in need of something other than shopping and/or eating and drinking, it's a beautiful way to spend relaxing time. Parking is ample unless there is an event, it's pet friendly, and... More

I love the Park of Roses, you can walk for hours and look at all of the very well maintained gardens of different plants. There's so much to see and to photograph. There are lots of benches along the way to just sit and read a book or relax. Whetstone park is really nice too, a great stop for the... More

Park of roses is a great spot for a nice walk and to view some beautiful flowers. Very peaceful. Whetstone park is right behind the park of roses and is connected to a larger walking/bike path. Very convenient and also has large parking lot. Very nice spot to visit and spend a few hours in Columbus.

Whetstone Park is part of the Columbus park system and is not only a large park, 136 acres, it's home to the park of roses with over a hundred varieties and more than 10.000 rose plants. There are walking trails, a prarie area, paths along the river, fishing, tennis courts, a recreation center, several shelter houses - I could go... More

I came here as a kid for summer concerts, took prom photos here, took many dates here, and then got married here. So I am a bit biased. But I think it is one of the most beautiful places in Columbus. If you are going to Vienna, go to the Schonnbrunn Palace Gardens. If you are in Columbus, go to... More
