Endless amount of places to check out within walking distance. A great variety and I ended up really liking at least one beer at every spot we went to. They give out punch cards letting you about every brewery around.

Had a great tour guide who gave us the low-down on the Temperance Movement and later Prohibition. For instance, the building pictured used to be the stables.

As a nondrinking college freshman (Go Bucks) I felt somewhat out of place here but was still able to enjoy it because all my friends were having such a great time.

We walked around and found an Irish pub to sit in and enjoy a few drinks. The Wednesday night crowd was light and enjoying a trivia night. We were a group of four and were quickly attended...spent the rest of the evening laughing and having a great time!

Nice part of town with a variety of restaurants. Mostly straight, young and singles. Loft living, loft-style offices and a great Kroger store. Definitely easier to navigate and park than Short North, but then, it doesn't have all the shopping and ambience.

Prohibition and mega-brewing killed a robust industry, a heritage of the German immigrants who settled the area. Today, old properties are rehabbed, new buildings rise in the style of another age, better restaurants take root, a new generation lives in apartments and condos, and, yes, real beer is making a comeback. A good option for a stroll, followed by a... More

While I live locally, went to this area for the first time a couple months back. It is really cool seeing this part of Columbus, and the great old buildings that many of the brewery's are located in. Nice sections in the area as you would imagine for places to get some drinks, but not so much for good food... More

There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the Brewery district but I found it lacked atmosphere nothing like the buzz that you would find in Europe, maybe it is a cultural thing but it all seemed too staged for me. It gets really cold in the winter so if you are going to do a pub crawl wrap up... More

The Brewery District is a neighborhood located in Columbus, located just south of the central business district and west of German Village, and borders I-70 on the north, South Pearl Street on the east, Greenlawn Avenue on the south, and the Scioto River on the west. This area features many good bars/restaurants (Victory's, Claddaugh's Irish Pub, Columbus Brewing Company), and... More
