Remodeled art museum. Free day which was incredibly crowded. We had trouble finding parking as we didn't originally know meters are free on weekends. We joined the free tour which was so informative but very long.

The Columbus Museum of Art which ironically just added a wing to me seems like one of the smallest art museums in this region. The collections themselves are not all that impressive to look at due to the galleries being no more than a couple...More

We've been here numerous times over the years and it has grown nicely. Most recently they added a beautiful modern art wing. It changes up in certain areas, so it's a place you can go back to repeatedly. This time it seemed heavy on artists...More

They have a varied lunch menu and I've tried a few things, but generally order the quiche. Very good, large portions with a side salad. Worth a stop as the museum is worth going through as well.

I moved to Columbus, Ohio from the Detroit area, home of the Detroit Institute of Arts, which is an absolutely fantastic, and really huge museum. When I visited the Columbus Museum of Art, I wasn't sure what to expect. It's not large, but I love...More

A tour given by a docent can be helpful to understand the history of the pieces and take a little extra time but it is worth it. Add in time for shopping and it could take about two to three hours.

we went during the week and just walked in to buy our tickets. I would check their web site if a special exhibit is in place.
